Hi there! I’m Alivia Cranick, and I’m passionate about being a photojournalist who tells real stories through my lens. I truly believe that photography has an incredible ability to connect us all, spark change, and shine a light on those important moments that sometimes slip by unnoticed. Right now, I’m diving deep into my studies in Photojournalism at Central Michigan University, where I’m also picking up minors in multimedia design and entrepreneurship.

 

At CMU, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to be a photographer for CMLife, capturing everything from thrilling sports events to vibrant campus activities and cultural narratives. Each experience has helped me grow into a well-rounded storyteller, dedicated to portraying the truth through powerful images.

 

My heart really lies in exploring the realms of sports and nature photography, along with photojournalism that raises awareness and fosters understanding. Whether it’s the adrenaline of a game or the serene beauty of the outdoors, I aim to create photos that evoke emotion and resonate deeply.

 

Looking forward, I’m excited about the journey ahead! I plan to continue freelancing, traveling, and discovering fresh perspectives that challenge the way we see the world. Through my photography, I hope to create work that not only informs but also uplifts and inspires.
