When Elliana Johnson and I received this assignment we thought the Central Michigan Health Professions building would be a good spot to shoot as it has a lot of windows that let in natural light as well as very many options to take photos.

With clear skies that day, we were able to take advantage of the sunlight and walk throughout the building to find areas to take photos.

While shooting with my Nikon Z5 II, Elliana and I talked about our paths at CMU and where we hope they will take us. For Elliana, she is a junior majoring in IPR with a minor in sports communication. With interest in pursuing her career in social media management, she hopes to work within the sports industry, specifically with the NFL as a goal, but is keeping her options open. Since January, she has been gaining hands-on experience with CMU Athletics by shadowing creatives across different sports. We ended our conversation by talking about her upcoming travels to Bowling Green with the gymnastics team, to see them compete in the MAC Championships on March 21, in which she watched them win back-to-back.
